  • Ree Drummond

Sunday is my time for cooking in my kitchen. Today's menu is recook from one recipe of my inspiration chef; Ree Drummond from her cooking show "The Pioneer Woman" at Food Network Channel, which is Lemon Roasted-Chile Broccoli. The original recipe is here http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ree-drummond/roasted-lemon-chile-broccoli

This recipe is so simple and combine my fave ingredients; lemon and broccoli. Let's take a look my recook!!

The ingredients we need are:

1 head Broccoli, cut into floret

Olive Oil

1 tsp Chili Flakes

1 tsp Lemon Zest

Salt

Black Pepper

1/2 tbs Lemon Juice from half of lemon

sorry if my kitchen is totaly a mess lol

Preheat the oven for 400 F. Prepare the baking sheet, put on the broccoli and drizzle with olive oil lightly.

Then, sprinkle with chili flakes.

Next, sprinkle with lemon zest. Remember to use yellow part because the white part of lemon gives a bitter taste.

Finally, seasoning with salt and black pepper and toss the broccoli before moving in to the oven.

Roasted the broccoli in the oven for 10 minutes until brown and crispy.

Finish the broccoli with squeezing of lemon juice on top of it. Serve immediately.

This dish is so yummy! It's fresh, a little bit spicy and the broccoli is still crunchy, not smooshy at all. It's full of protein and fiber, perfect for our healthy life style. You should try this Ree Drummond's recipe for sure. It's very easy! Enjoy!
