As a veggies lover, I like to cook many kind of green vegetables. It's healthy, lots of nutrition and fiber, also cheaper than meat. Unfortunately, Indonesia still importing foreign vegetables; such as kale, brussels sprout, or asparagus. That causes those kind of veggies are expensive here.
But, I don't care about the price because I love them all lol
This recipe is easy and quick to cook; the crunchiness of asparagus suitable with crispy fried garlic and saltiness from grated parmesan cheese.
The ingredients are 1 bunch of asparagus spears, water to shimmer, 3 tbs butter, 5 cloves minced garlic, salt, black pepper and 2 tbs grated parmesan cheese.

First step is trimming the hard part of asparagus spears, then bring a large pot with water to boil, add a pinch of salt. Add asparagus, shimmering for 5 minutes.

Drain well and put into ice water, drain again and set aside. Then, melted butter in skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and stirring occasionally, seasoning with salt and black pepper. Cook garlic until crisp.

Placed cooked asparagus on the plate, pour crispy garlic and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!!
